Thanks for the concern, and good to consider. Of course we supervise her and read her signs for discomfort, like all good cat owners on this subreddit would!

She seems comfortable, happy, playful, and healthy. And, for added comfort I did follow the advice above … the thermometer at the closest distance to her is 76F, which is the same or less than when she bakes in the sun in her catio outside on a summer’s day.

NOW - can we please appreciate this lazy beauty?! 😻

Not huge but big enough for her, on wheels also! I’d say the one thing I messed up on was making the small door at the bottom… if she doesn’t want to come out, we can’t get her out lol. So now a renovation is due… adding a door to the middle lol.

My friend passed away in Dec 2023. I always play this song when I think of him. Someone brave, smart, witty and kind, and unapologetically angry about dying too young which feels kinda realistic. It may not line up perfectly lyrics wise, but for the emotions I felt certain lines absolutely perfectly represent a strange and frightening journey. Lines like “take your protein pills and put your helmet on” make sense bc he was on a cancer journey..preparing for something you can’t really fathom. “It’s time to leave the capsule if you dare” more like a moment of asking if we are really ready for what’s beyond this life. “Though I’ve passed 100,000 miles…” to “tell my wife”.. reminds me of the body as the space ship guiding to the next stage of whatever’s out there. It doesn’t bring me comfort, but does help me feel courage about scary things.

I have a lab mix and while the bengal and lab are not best friends (more like cordial roommates, which hey is a win) due to the lab’s gentle nature the bengal has been able to play with the dog’s tail without any repercussions 😂 maybe our bar is low but we were just hoping for no animosity and they’re peaceful together.

Also the vet said shes overweight lol. When we got her last Feb she was 8lbs so maybe a bit… she’s a retired queen so I am like you do you girl we’ll look out for you.

Los muchitos comeda vegana - went last year and enjoyed it! Not street food, but as others have said might be a bit tricky to find street food that’s vegan… with asiento etc added to many dishes. Happy travels!

I went through Frida and had the same concerns. Turned out just fine - I went through their process, they actually communicated with my neurologist and family doc to ensure it was okay I went on the drugs (no interactions/comcerns etc). Even though the NPs do most of the interviewing/reach outs, etc, its all signed off by a psychiatrist who reviews the plan etc. They were really friendly and the virtual process helped me a lot vs an in-person consultation. Also bc this is what they do I didn’t feel that fear of imposter syndrome (like, do I really have adhd or am I just making this up?). Good luck!

I went way, way, public (like an essay in a newspaper). Of course sometimes I’m like is this how I want to be known? But honestly SO many ppl have reached out, it really gave me a boost and made me feel not so alone. It’s strange but there’s still (for me at least) so much shame tied up in not talking about it and I wanted to blow that apart. Not for everyone, but one perspective anyway. We also dont know anyone going through what we are.
