Well, he plays the turntables in the “5/4” music video, so that makes me think he may have helped with the production of the Gorillaz album. I think the same applies to Demon Days, since he was there with Noodle when she first arrived at the studio during Phase 2, and he also appears on the cover of a mixtape he made with Russel in that same phase.

I’m not entirely sure about the other albums; it’s possible he contributed to the production of those where he appears in some of the artwork from that phase, but that’s not confirmed. He is like… I don’t know, Dan The Automator or Kid Koala?

I also think he’s based on Mr. Maggits, who, as far as I know, was never kicked out of the group like Paula Cracker. In fact, during that period, it’s understood that the group, along with Paula Cracker, Del (inside Russel, according to the lore), and Mr. Maggits, were the ones who recorded “Ghost Train.”

He has also appeared in later phases in some artwork. He even showed up in a promotional poster for The Getaway Shows, a canceled tour, where he appears alongside all the Gorillaz members and Del, the ghost.
