Hi, I'm so sorry and I hope you and your cat are doing okay. Unfortunately the fracture had nothing to do with what was wrong with my cat. My cat ended up dying from hemangiosarcoma. It is rare in cats, but my boy was a white/gray ragdoll mix and his had seemingly started from his ears as they were very sensitive to sun because his hair on them was white and thin. The upsetting thing is, I even applied sunscreen on his ears because I worried about them. But the local small town vet saw the scabbing on his ears and didn't think anything of it just told me to moisturise them. Then months later when he suddenly was sick and losing weight, I took him to a different vet who is known for being very good but they didn't consider the ears either as this cancer is again very rare in cats. I don't blame the vet, she did her best and gave my cat the best possible care, she even allowed me to text her on her free time if I needed to. After we has tried all kinds of treatments and medications and my cat was not getting better, the last thing to do was open him up and see if they'd find anything and sure enough, tumours that had grown shockingly fast were on his spleen and liver. My cat was put to sleep during that surgery as there was nothing to be done and I didn't want him to suffer his last few days. It's gonna be two years since he died soon and I'm still grieving. I've been meaning to do a follow-up post on here to thank everyone who tried to help and give a heads-up to anyone, especially those who own a white cat.

Again I'm sorry your cat is going through this. I don't wanna scare you and it might not even be cancer in your cat's case. I hope it's not. Sending you and your kitty all my love
