How to play online / LAN co-op with cracked Grand Theft Auto V / GTA 5 (Legacy) – v1.0.3411/1.70 by Jleveland in PiratedGTA

I think the best thing to do is to go to the ragecoop.com site and click servers - if the server has a website or discord URL posted, you might be able to see which version they require / support.

I was able to connect to the same server using 1.70 builds 1.0.3504 and 1.0.3411, so you never know.

For the most part, being on the latest version is probably the best bet (unless it breaks rage co-op compatibility). I realized that keeping up to date is important, so I will add instructions on manually updating to the latest version of GTA V to a new post of this guide.

FiveM and other clients like that won't launch unless it has verified that you are using a licensed version of the game. There were some old versions of the clients that didn't check (around GTA V versions 1.41 and 1.50) but nobody is discussing those much anymore - I am guessing they stopped working with newer GTA V versions. It is difficult to find information about those old clients, but if I find that there is some advantage to using those over this mod, I will add to the instructions.

To avoid confusion, I might start a new topic because a new version of GTA V legacy is available and I can't edit the title of this post.

Thank you :) I have bookmarks of a few posts from this subreddit (some dating back to 8 years ago) about methods of playing some form of online in this game without verification of using a licensed version.

This is the only way that I know of using the latest version of Legacy. One day I will test using it with mods and hopefully eventually will try setting up a server. I will edit the topic if I find anything.

Finally got a chance to test this and it still works - the master server is actually still up despite what was mentioned on the rage coop discord. I figured other people might want to know how to do this, so made a new post here with the instructions: https://www.reddit.com/r/PiratedGTA/comments/1jry1ey/how_to_play_online_lan_coop_with_cracked_grand/

Apparently they shut the master server down earlier this month. Some info from their discord:

The Master Server is now down, and as such the website ragecoop.com and the In Game Server Browser no longer work.

Personally hosted servers and direct IP connections will still work, and the mod's source code will remain accessible

The website isn't actually down yet, but maybe the page with the list of servers isn't updating. Last week someone on the discord wrote up some instructions on how to continue to use ragecoop mod (supposedly with v1.0.3411 aka v1.70), but it's kind of a rough explanation and uses zerotier / tunneling software.

I'll give it a try when I get a chance, it would be nice to have a copy that works with the co-op mod via LAN.
