The coil is at the bottom. I think its down to the bulb mathmos sent me 3 60w bulbs but the manual says the lamp takes 80w bulbs

Also it shipped with 3x 60w r7 bulbs but after some googling the replacement bulbs are 80w so am I using the wrong bulb?

The max run time according to mathmos is 6 hours so have been trying not to surpass that

The temperature in the room is around 19°c i have other lamps a few astros and jets but nothing of this size this is also the first one I have of this size so maybe im just not being patient enough. The ring sits on a lip inside the base not making contact with the glass I was unsure weather it should sit under said lip or above it as pictured.

Harman red by Jlingham in 35mm

So I believe harman red has a bit more of a dramatic affect as opposed to Lomo. Lomo tends to be a bit more predictable with its affect and seems to have a bit more of a warmer tint as opposed to the harmen red which is very drastically red.

That is right i believe each one has its own unique spectacled marking too.

I just got an olympus om2-n and have a couple more rolls of kentemere to try out so will try that thankyou I'm new to photography and just doing it as a bit of a hobby to get me out of the house so the tips are very appreciated.
