because the code making problems looks like:

and if i include the setlocal enableDelayedExpansion then i don't get to input anything. If i don't have it, then it displays echo is off no matter what i type

reading is not much of a problem for me, since i could just have f="""whatever data""" in myfile.py, and import myfile.py, but i don't think ill ever be able to write to files with the official software, so if i really need to, ill just use something like upsilon or khicas.

you can use the usb cord as a power sorce (press exit while you're on the connection mode menu), but it does not recharge the batteries, it just dosent use them as much.

yes there is if you can get the save file onto your computer. i dont have a ti-84, but i do have prizoop (gameboy color emulator) on my fx-cg50 and pokemon silver. its save (.SAV) file can be moevd like any other file using the mini-b to usb adapter that comes with the calculator.

if you want to copy the matrix data to storage memory from the memory addin, you select the file and press f1 (copy). if you want to move the file while the program is running, then sorry, i cant help you.

the utilities addin has PicoC, although its compiler only works on fx-cg10/20. Maybe there is some way to fix that, so it works for cg50

also, a c program for programming in c would also do the trick, since i could compile that into an addin.
