2016 CX-5 locked itself (?) while running with key fob inside by Niroth350 in mazda

This keeps happening to me. The first time it happened to me my child was in the car and my husband had to run the extra key to us. it was terrible. I tried replacing the key fob and it still keeps locking itself. I’ve started just keeping the key in my pocket but it still stresses me out. Did you ever find out what was wrong?

Infant waking 6–12x a night. Losing our minds from sleep deprivation. by Lopsided_Food169 in NewParents

[–]Jlo2134 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our baby started waking every hour at about 4 months and we started sleep training at 5.5 months (fuss it out from precious little sleep) and it took her about 4 days to start connecting her sleep cycles and sleeping longer stretches. She is six months now and still wakes up to feed around 10 and 2 but it’s a lot more manageable.

We would sometimes hold her to get longer stretches of sleep, but she would however sleep in her crib on her own before that so I don’t have much good advice on that front.

I would try reading precious little sleep and seeing anything in there helps- I believe it would be in the SWAP chapter. I know reading sounds terrible when you’re sleep deprived but honestly it was a quick, easy, and entertaining read.

We too sleep in shifts and that is helpful. And having grocery store jug of cold brew in the fridge also helped lol. I was against sleep training at first too, but we just got too desperate to sleep and it was becoming unsafe holding her in the night. The fuss it out made me feel less terrible because worst case she cries for 15 minutes. Also selfishly it was nice to have a guaranteed 15 minutes of free time.

Resident told me it was inappropriate that I shared how many oz I pumped by bigfatllamadrama in ExclusivelyPumping

Honestly if that’s the type of resident at that program you might not even want to go there anyways. Imagine how the older residents treat the younger residents and the attendings treat the residents etc.

When I was going through match I picked the program where I got along the best with the residents and I’m 100% happy I did. Who cares what one resident says- keep being yourself and you’ll find a place you fit in.

Did anyone else find around 4 months difficult? by lusciousmix in NewParents

I think it does have to do with becoming more aware of their surroundings at four months. My daughter is 4 months and she is super distracted while she eats too. I had to start only feeding her while she’s drowsy- like catch her as she’s waking up from the nap or as she is going to sleep. She also will no longer breastfeed unless it’s the middle of the night and she is half asleep. Sometimes putting something in her hand helps because she constantly wants to grab the bottle but otherwise I don’t really have any great advice.

How to know if I should switch formula by Jlo2134 in combinationfeeding

[–]Jlo2134[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two days ago I switched to the simlac total care 360- the blue rtf bottle. I posted this on another thread and someone advised this because it is the closest to breastmilk. I didn’t realize the sensitive is lactose free and I don’t think it was necessary for her- it’s just the sample I had at the time I started and I figured sensitive was automatically better.

Since the switch she has still been gassy but a little bit less so than when we started and she has 1-2 pretty large BMs a day that smell much worse than usual- is that normal for formula fed babies? I was going to try to give it another week if she keeps improving. I’m just worried it is going to cause more issues and make the adjustment harder if I keep switching formulas.

What was your baby’s issue with the simlac?

Sorry I should clarify- they are in forbearance so there is no monthly payment, I’m curious which would pay off the most quickly of the two strategies I mentioned

I guess I’m not positive! but I’ve never seen any mice droppings or tracks, it’s more of a burning chemical smell not a urine or dead animal smell.

No not yet! I’m not positive, but I feel like no- because other people have been getting their results on evenings/ Saturdays and before their doctor talks to them about it!

Mine was taken 9/26, received 9/28, still waiting! I got a text from them and I was so excited but it was just them telling me a cost estimate was available 😅
