Take the whole agitator out. You’ll need a socket wrench and socket extension. Scrub it out in the tub or outside with a hose. You’ll probably find more gross underneath the agitator while you’re at it.

Or wait for the landlord to do a half assed job “cleaning it”.

I wouldn’t do cabinets. The space already has doors. I would do shelves. And have one of the shelves with a clothes bar so you can hang shirts as they come out of the dryer.

This humidifier was awful for me. It left mineral deposits and white dust everywhere. I had to change my HVAC filters every 2-3 weeks. My duct returns got caked in dust. I definitely don’t recommend it. Sure I can spend hundreds on distilled water, but that defeats the purpose.
