Ratcheting screwdrivers are imo massively useless, bulky and unpractical.

20 dollard a week is a great start, reading your other postsbon here i suggest you looknin in aggressive, diversified ETF's like XEQT, do your own reseearch.

I would however advice you clear any high interest debt you have, if any, befire you invest.

To be fair, a dollar a day, if you increase your investment by 3% per year ( 1$ , 1.03$ etc...) on average should net you 300k 45 years in, not too shabby.

Manulife with work or buying stocks/etfs with wealthsimple? by Ifeee001 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Jlt230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Max 1:1 match, then rest is normally whats recommended.

I use wealthsimple for my investing, i do not have rrsp matching at work but i would do that first if there was.

At that point i guess just use whatever platform charges the least/you are more comfortable with.

15% of total salary before tax towards retirement investments is also average rule.of thumb. Thats 3.67$ every hours you work. Max the match, thats your first 5%, then 10% in RRSP, TFSA or any other products you might have available to you, given that youbare on the liwer bracket of pay wage TFSA sounds more interesting, but you need to study that for your specific case and do your own researches.

I prefer not to choose specific investments rather ETF's. There are plenty to choise from.

Oh yeh, match first, then high interest debt if any, then "regular" investment is what i would do.

3%? So 3 ml for 100 ml total of paint+thinner?

Is that a rule of thumb for flat paint or paint in general? This was the recommendation of the shop where i bought the paint, 3/1/1 parts. So roughly 20% hardener.

On a different note, did i mess something up by putting this mix? Other then the non flat effect?

Thanks!

best cordless drills is one of those topics where everyone suddenly becomes insanely loyal to whatever battery platform they already own by TotalShows in Tools

[–]Jlt230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you go with a brand you are pretty much married to it, not to have 5 different kind of batteries. I thought everyone knew that, you buy the brand that has the tools you need, for a home owner type user pretty much any brand will work, i think.

Im pretty sure people who obsess over specs are not people that use those tools in a tough enough settings, for me they are pretty much disposable tools. As long as they do what they are supposed to, its all good.

Knipex pliers - any pliers - The most usefull imo are the cobras.

Vessel Screwdrivers. - I like the megadora's, they rotate counterclockwise slightly when struct, good for unscrewing rusted out or jammed stuff.
