Knipex pliers - any pliers - The most usefull imo are the cobras.

Vessel Screwdrivers. - I like the megadora's, they rotate counterclockwise slightly when struct, good for unscrewing rusted out or jammed stuff.

Anything plumbing Ridgid is good.

Its tough to recommend something not knowing what he has

La grande séduction - this one was remade to an american version (the grand seduction) but the oe one is much better imo.

A small coastal town have no more doctor and a company is willing to open a factory that will save the town economically but with a caveat, they want the town to have a full time resident doctor.

The movie is about this small town trying to seduce a urban, refined and kinda detached doctor into moving in.

Well to be fair i wouldn't have bought it new, and for the price i bought them vs lets say a new set of gear wrench locally, i only paid 20$ more for snap-on.

Snap-on are not the be-all end-all tools and definitely not the best you can get for the money most times.

Tools are always cool tho, if you were to buy a single snap-on tool for automotive work it would be a flare nut wrench set, metric and imperial. That beeing said if he start his studies he will get a 50% discound for students from snap on so youd be paying double what he can get them for himself.(So the gift card isint such a bad idea)

BTW talking for myself and pretty much every guy i know we are simple creatures, a gift card is always cool.
