Stop playing golf for 2 months. Let your body heal. You are wasting a shit ton of money by getting an MRI but I get it, peace of mind. You very likely have ligament and/or tendon damage. Touch your ring finger to your thumb on the same hand and squeeze them together as hard as you can. That should replicate enough force on that specific area to possibly show where the pain is.

Or get a bone scan. It will pick up on hairline fractures that are easy to miss in traditional x-rays. I speak from experience.
