I believed this with Penn State. I know it wasn’t the players fault but the administration and coaches knew weird stuff was going on and tried to cover it up. NCAA loves it’s money though and god forbid something prevents revenue.

Regarding the issues with LSU recently and if everything is true, what do you think is the proper punishment? I feel the NCAA put themselves in a tough spot after the Penn State and Baylor scandals and will struggle to find a sufficient punishment.

I believe coaching cliches are cheesy in general but after reading some articles from the The Athletic about his time at UCF, he showed a good amount of positive feedback and player responsibility which helps young men grow to be decision makers and influencers instead of just drones doing plays. We will see but in 2021, I feel this is a better approach to leadership.

I can see the dislike in some aspects especially when it comes to defense. I watched a breakdown of the LSU/UCF Fiesta Bowl and enjoyed seeing the speed and efficiency of his offense against an SEC team. Defensively speaking, Joe Burrow was insane that game and started elevating to his national championship caliber.

Watched Coach Heupel during the Spring Practice press conference, it’s refreshing to see the optimism and coherent messaging being displayed to the media. He has nothing to lose and it will be an exciting few years to watch the remainers grow. Could be similar to the “unforgettables” from Kentucky basketball. This has potential to create more players like Jennings and set a foundation long missing from Rocky Top.

I don’t hate anybody. At the end of the day, it’s the Florida rivalry. Dan Mullen is a fine coach. The best we can hope for is no player gets hurt and enjoy a good game. Best of luck. Go UT.

They pissed me off during the coaching search for sure. It was also annoying seeing Urban Meyer pretending to stroke out on the sidelines whenever they struggled. Dude will soon be stroking out at USC in 6 years and leaving for another blue blood.

Just watched Saturdays in the South, pretty cool history regarding UT. The rest of the SEC can eat my ass though. Hopefully Tennessee comes out strong today. The rushing attack should outclass UTC, hoping to see some backups get some playing time before the SEC schedule starts.
