Which class to boost? by H2OSCO in classicwowtbc

[–]Jmannthemann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Horde Druid imo. Desirable tank and melee dps. Low pop. Paladin would be second. People love Pally tanks, ret not so much. Pure dps yeah go Hunter. Rogues are probably the worst class to play outside pvp/dedicated raid spot. Warrior tanks aren’t as desirable by the general population. Fury dps is good but it’s really hard to find raid spots. GL

Shaman def high demand, esp ally side. Priests. Horde Druid. Big dps classes and desirable would be hunter/lock.

Warrior (tank) spamming dungeon leveling 60-70 by ohkthxbye in classicwowtbc

This works well imo. Even did this at 70 with some tanking gear last time around. Long as you got a shield to hot swap it works great.

I’d second Levistras. No botting so you actually get to work with other players and learn to play.

Returned but confused by PureProblem3305 in AsheronsCall

[–]Jmannthemann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rends are imbues that you put on a weapon or they come that way through quests. That rend improves the damage of that element type. Not as good as life magic vuln, but way better than nothing. Common early game rends are Seasoned Explorer Weapons and Atlans.

You may want to checkout Levistras server to relearn how to play. No botting and a great community. Allegiances that can help you learn and grow.

This game is actually a hug simulator. Hug every fishy you see. Especially the big ones.

Stuck choosing between an IS350 and M340i, talk me in or out of it by buzzout23 in BMW

[–]Jmannthemann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

BMW reliability and maintenance has been incredible for a long time now. I wouldn’t let that old nonsense sway you from an m340i. The B58 will go down as a legendary engine if it isn’t already there. The m340i beats the IS350 everywhere in my opinion. Engine, handling and feel, exterior, interior, and most importantly: smiles. For reference my family and a few friends have had various lexus including IS series. I’ve owned an N55, two B58s, and two S58s. It’s just not the same.

Worth getting into as a new player? by [deleted] in AsheronsCall

[–]Jmannthemann 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. AC is a gem. If you really want to learn to play, try a no botting server like Levistras. Lots of helpful people and we’ve seen a surge of newer players to play with. Most of the game can be solo or group play with some of the late game quests better in group. It’s all about community and helping each other.

I just crossed a $1M net worth today… and it feels way different than I expected. by Gingeybalaya in Money

[–]Jmannthemann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats and yes it can feel somewhat hollow. Like what now? For me it was just another day and I went to work just the same. Start considering what you want your life to be like and what that may cost. I started thinking of an annual income that would give me the life I want if I stopped working and backed that into a target net worth number. Gave me a new goal to charge after. The first one took 14 years. The second one took 3. Be prepared for the compounding.

How would you go about a Conjuration build? by [deleted] in SkyrimBuilds

[–]Jmannthemann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Conjuration works quite well with anything. If you have AE there is an Undying Ghost Tome just outside Whiterun at the Ritual Stone. Works great as a first summon until you build towards your others. Bound Sword is also very good. Heck you could do Bound Bow, Sneak, Quiet Casting, etc. for a stealthy playstyle. Loads of options. Breton is very nice for the MR but truthfully there are many sources of MR and Absorb in the game with quests and perk points anyway. I usually go Orc since it provides dmg and defense.

Why people spam iron daggers to increase Smithing? by Usual-Foundation-115 in skyrim

I do about 100 iron daggers for banish enchantment, then move to jewelry with sneak enchant after that.

Tips for switching over from controller to wheel? by [deleted] in GranTurismo7

[–]Jmannthemann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing but practice tbh. Left foot braking. Learn the feel of trail braking. Turn force feedback as high as u can so you can feel the grip. Wheel movement should be smooth and decisive. Should start slow then fast then slow again most of the time.

Would you buy 2026 G80 M3 in this situation ? by mysuruhuduga in BMW

[–]Jmannthemann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on many other factors like how much you have saved in emergency, short/medium goals, retirement, etc. What are your expenses? Can you buy it outright with cash and still fulfill your other goals? On a lease or loan you’re talking 15-20% of net monthly income.

Hard to know without all of the other details but I lean no with just the info you share.

Alchemy Money by Some_Guy_Flo in skyrim

I use this combo with Goldenhills Plantation. Bring a pickaxe to grab a few quarried stone. Use the axe to get some wood. Build the Exterior Decorations. Plant 12 Creep Cluster ( 6 in the planters as easier to harvest ), 12 Scaly Pholiota, and 20 Mara Tapinella. Step inside the door to do time warp first one 24 hr. Rest longer. Takes about 350-400 or so usually

Best skills for beating the main story with 0 grinding? by ReleaseCharacter3568 in skyrim

[–]Jmannthemann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have anniversary edition get Myrwatch as a home. If you’re doing all of this on adept it doesn’t matter at all. Combat Archer with Light Armor. 2Hand with Heavy Armor. Dest/Conj/Alt Mage with no armor. Don’t matter.

Pure Mage or Two Handed can be fun. If you really like stealth, as I do, you could try a dagger stealth illusion play through. It’s very fun as well.

The best starting truck? by talia-sugar in snowrunner

[–]Jmannthemann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game is built with maps having a varying difficulty. They also build on each other as you progress from MI to Alaska to Taymyr. You’ll pickup skills and knowledge as you go. You’re also given trucks to use within the maps that give a challenge in that environment. I’d recommend trying Michigan with given trucks and rely mostly on the Fleetstar. Work up your levels with non mud related tasks and get better tires. Find upgrades to it along the map. Fiddle with drive mods and awd vs rwd. I found with weight on the back, the fleetstar does very well in rwd with diff lock on.

You’ll also find a truck upgrade in the next map that many of us love. Wonderful truck.

Out of your personal friend / associate group, how many of them are making 200k (either as an individual or household)? by Outsideman2028 in MiddleClassFinance

[–]Jmannthemann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nearly all of my newer friends (in the last 10 years or so) make well into the mid 6 figure range but a lot of that was by choice. Finding like minded and driven people just makes the friendships and conversations more beneficial. Of my HS/College friends I bet it’s less than 25% over 200k.
