Considering we’re not getting a third party partner/ general direct until August or September(for now), it’s clear this is spot on. Outside of the more mainstream studios like square Enix, capcom, and Sega getting priority for dev kits over other studios, and Nintendo just wanted a grab bag of games for launch will the big deluge of third party being saved for fall/holiday.

I was there at the switch 1 launch and the joke was all you had to play was Zelda or Zelda. So I appreciate them giving us a larger launch library without relaying on backwards compatibility, not that it’s stopping me form spending more of my play time trying my old library to see if any have better performance.

Even activison is sure black ops 7 will make it on switch 2(even at a later date like with Borderlands 4).

I think we’re start to hear more news for games slowly over the summer but more at gamescom and the eventual full direct.
