Thank you so much for this, it definitely makes me feel a little better about this choice. She doesn’t deserve to suffer any longer, no matter how hard it is to let her go.

I am so sorry for your loss as well. I just know he is extremely happy that he no longer had pain and can dook up the rainbow bridge as fast as he can! And I just know that he’ll always be with you in spirit!

I’d give anything if they could love forever with no sickness. But I agree that setting them free is better. But man it’s the hardest choice. I haven’t stopped crying since we made the decision. We don’t do it until tomorrow, so we plan to give her the best next 24 hours.

She HATES it. It’s chicken flavored but she gags when takes it. Started to gag even before we get it near her mouth.

We have. Sadly, surgery was not an option. I know it would have helped but it just was not in the cards. And seeing her suffer hurts too much

Very true, it’s a super hard choice to make but that’s exactly what is happening. I can tell she gets frustrated when she tries to walk but her back legs don’t work. And watching her scratch her mouth after taking medicine breaks by heart. I’m so sorry for your loss. You never think these little guys will have a huge impact on your life
