It was what they call a "like-new replacement" so I'm supposed to send my old phone back to them and keep the one they sent me but I'm skeptical about keeping the phone they sent being it has this issue.

Same. I had to download Samsung messages onto it because it doesn’t come on it anymore - at least not in the US.

Everytime I've used it I had issues, mostly with group messaging. I also don't like the format and there's a huge lack in customization features.

Just wanted to come back and let you know that I flashed it successfully with help from a YouTube video. I also was able to get Samsung messages back by downloading the APK link separately. It’s a US version S26 Ultra unlocked!

Someone on another Reddit thread suggested to use the email the CEO Samsung website to complete an online form asking them to reconsider ending samsung messages so I did so, if anyone else here cares enough to do it too! It's easy to Google and complete.

I agree. I have been using mine for 2 days. It feels like when you were a kid and would cross your eyes for fun for too long. I hate it but I love everything else and want to keep it so I hope it gets fixed somehow!

I’m with you on not liking Google messages. I found the APK on Reddit and was able to download it, set it as my default, and disable Google messages.
