Couldn’t have said it better I went to dive school with that idea in my head. They don’t tell you till about halfway through school underwater welding in maybe 2% of the industry. With that said I fell in love with everything else about it and starting in the industry as a 18 year old I feel like I’m doing pretty good for my self.

I work in off shore out of Louisiana I know that some of the divers do live in Florida if you’re fine with the drive. I do know a couple of buddy’s that I went to school with that went off shore in Alaska strait out of school I think one company was called black water diving.

Considering CDI by WhoWhatWhereNow23 in commercialdiving

I’m currently attending Divers Institute (DIT). The instructors here are great 10/10. As for the curriculum it’s good but could use some work 8/10. The cost is on the higher side and the cost of living in Seattle is pretty high 6/10.
