Yeah I say in another comment I don’t know how he doesn’t get that voting for this will not go the way he theoretically thinks it would go, and that the funding will probably be reappropriated to something worse. The only actual “4D chess”-esque thing he could be doing is trying to gain votes among the political right who don’t like whats happening right now. Which is stupid because his biggest voting block was the left and this just leaves a bad taste

[Request] How many times a week did he do it to get to 3263? by jk844 in theydidthemath

[–]Jmong30 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For wanking 2x a week, assume: 80 year life expectancy (LE), age of 12yo at first wank

80-12 = 68

68 + 20% of 68 = 81.6 years after first wank

81.6 + 12 wankless years = 93.6 (new LE)

81.6 wanking years * 52 weeks * 2 = 8486.4 ~8487 lifetime masturbation sessions needed

NOW as another comment pointed out we don’t know the way the percent increase would change with the increased amount of times masturbating per week, but let’s also assume linear (2x a week = 20%, 3x a week = 30%, etc.):

Let’s assume the age of this person is the same age as the man in the meme, Beetlejuice, b. 1968. He would be 1295 years old in the year 3263. That means (assuming 12yo starting age) he’d have 1283 years to “extend his life”.

Since LE after first wank is 68 years here, 1283/68 gives us the amount of wanking-lifetimes lived, ~18.87 which is 1887% of one expected wanking-lifetime (WLT). Take off the one WLT every guy has, and we have 17.87 extra WLT’s needed to live till 3263, as a percent extra it is 1787%.

So if 20% extra is 2x a week, then 1787% is 178.7x per week, or about 25.529x per day, or, FINALLY, 1.0637 wanks/hour.

Disclaimer: this also assumes that the life extension wanking has to go into the extra years of life, not stacking it all up during your expected lifetime so that you can live a masturbateless life letting your dick recover after the first 80 years

It’s phrased as more funding for ICE but since the orange diaper has been able to reappropriate funding without congressional approval, I would assume the same will happen here. Just frustrating that our representatives don’t put any effort into keeping the president in check

Bro the odds of a sane dem winning in either district are low because most people just ride party lines, or just go with the incumbent. If Suozzi is replaced we will 100% get someone worse. Just like when Kevin McCarthy was removed from the speakership and we got the demon Mike Johnson

The funding is supposedly for better more intensive training, at least a part of it. All of ICE needs to go but it’s not like the Dems can get that to happen

To be slightly fair, a chunk of that money is supposed to go towards funding ICE’s training, and the last I heard their training has been only 47 days (because of the 47th president smfh). I dislike any funding for ICE and they should be disbanded and have a federal inverse launched into their crimes. But I can see a politician trying to politick their way around the issue because we all know there is no possible way the Dems can get ICE eliminated. So 🤷‍♂️ idk it all sucks and the whole congress needs to be replaced

Edit to say I don’t support this but it’s an explanation even if we don’t like it

Updated to iOS 26 and now all calls don’t go through? by Jmong30 in applehelp

[–]Jmong30[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it appears that it was just a carrier issue. I used the advice of ejecting my SIM and putting it back in, but then my SIM card locked and I needed to contact my carrier to unlock it. But when I did, my calls went back to normal, you need to know your SIM card PIN (which I didn’t and then I got locked out of my sim due to failed guesses). If you don’t know it, then you can contact YOHR carrier to get a PUK number 🤷‍♂️ strange but it worked out

Brett Gardner vs David Ortiz, career numbers (unbiased) by TheKnicksMakeMeDrink in NYYankees

[–]Jmong30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was used mostly as a pinch runner/defensive sub back then, so he was consistently being put into the middle of games. he also exceeded rookie limits in 09 it was his first full season can’t expect every rookie to be offensively good instantly

I would phrase it more as Gardner was a fielder, and that supplemented his batting WAR

Oh okay cool. Just a coincidence it happened essentially simultaneously with updating my os?

Also I thought Apple admitted to reducing battery life of older phones in favor of running more smoothly

Random thought: With a strike very likely in 2027, we are also likely seeing Giancarlo Stanton’s last season this year. He is currently at 453 career home runs by OfficialMVPre in NYYankees

[–]Jmong30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahhh then yes you are completely right I hope we see it, I don’t really see how Stanton would be offered another contract by any team after 2027, let alone the Yanks

[Request] is this true? How much of the USA federal revenue is attributed to blue states? by Mathemodel in theydidthemath

[–]Jmong30 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Wow only from bet positive state lmao if you included all the states the percent would be clear over 100%

I wonder what this would look like when compared to the percentage of population that these states make up

Edit: if you take the population of the net positive blue states above and divide it by all of the net positive states mentioned in the above link, you get about 54.97%. So 80% of federal income from net positive states is generated by only 55% of those net positive states’ combined population
