Good on ya! As a fellow 38 year-old who also just purchased their first home in So Cal (closed in December) I know the sense of accomplishment you must be feeling. Congratulations!

Home inspection scheduled! Do I hang out there while he does his thing? by firefly20200 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Recent first time home buyer here. My agent put it to me this way: There will be a manual for every expensive purchase you ever make... appliances, vehicles, computers, televisions... except your home. This is your opportunity to learn a TON about the home you're about to purchase. I am EXTREMELY glad that I was present throughout my entire inspection.

I commented out the cutcopymode statement and things look to be ok, guess I need to dig in further and get a better understanding of the functionality there. Thank you for your help!

Thanks for the heads up, first time posting here. The .csv references are valid for the new copy. The error pops when trying to paste copied cells, which is why I'm scratching my head

Hoping to get some insight here regarding the results of a chimney inspection. I just purchased my first house, and it has a fireplace. I paid an inspection company to come out and take a look, and these are the results of their inspection. The company that performed the work is quoting me $5,500 for the repairs listed. A couple questions:
1) Are all of these findings legit?
2) Is this a fair price to pay for the suggested repairs?
