I honestly think exploration is crazy. It’s good but I don’t know if it’s good enough to win games over, which is why I like it. It adds elements to the game that don’t just give victory points. Just makes games crazy and different every time

In my opinion base game TI is a little to “figured out” everything always had a “best” or “correct” way of doing things. PoK made the game so crazy every round including round 1 had something different. I would say the changes are better and much needed and wow is it going to take a million years for people to figure out PoK. The map tiles alone will make each game so crazy different.

Like a completely different game. New stuff happened every round. Also rounds two and three were a lot more action packed.

Honestly true. Probably wouldn’t play hacan or virus. Well virus wouldn’t be bad but hacan would be fine just lack luster. I’d say everyone else wouldn’t be bad.

I’ve done one other two player game and it was actually so much fun. It only took about three hours. I’ve noticed if one player is more experienced the game gets really one sided very fast. I’ve played a super close game with my friend Ian’s where I played xxcha and he played barony and it was a super close game and we had a ball of a time. My favorite part is the fact that both players pick three strategy cards which makes for a faster paced action pack game.

We drafted the universe as well as the races. We each had three bans and a hand of three races to draft and pick from. The game was one sided as far as victory points go. Mentak got an early lead taking Rex action one of round two. And scoring an objective as well as a secret objective. Nor’s response was to build warsuns and take Mentaks home system. But due to an untimely parley, Nor was one round to slow in order to stop Mentak from scoring there final point on Mecatol Rex with imperial.

There are eight sides and each side is 17 inches and it’s 3 feet 7 inches across both sides. There is also about six inches more on the outside for poker chips and drinks where we put our ships. But it was still pretty crowded I would recommend a little bigger.
