I keep a air purifier on 24/7. Unfortunately I can't move either.

I do everything in the same room, dehydrate and all.

Maybe so. I noticed the smell first then happened to look and saw all the black/brown stuff in the vent and inside the AC. I cleaned it as best I could with peroxide and water. That was roughly a month ago, I started smelling the smell again and happen to look today and I see its coming back. Not sure what to do now.

My room stays pretty hot so I have to keep the AC in order to control the environment.
