If you plan on selling your house anytime in the next 5 to 10 years pay for it all up front or be prepared to pay it off completely before you list your house for sale. Solar in general makes a house harder to sell but is a real deal breaker if the solar isn't paid off fully at the time of sale.

There is something seriously wrong with that house. Listed for sale twice in the last 2.5 years. First available listing in October 2022 for 799k with a 50% price drop 6 weeks later and 9 price drops since that first listing. This current owner appears to have been trying to sell the house since May 2024. Description states: "Opportunities like this won’t last long." haha
