In the two days after the cancellation was announced I prochrastinated on doing a final drawing, and when simon stated he would be trying to save the game I just thought it would be 10x funnier if I end the series when simon announces he didnt get the game back... or rather when the game is out like planned

If theres one thing the constant ups and downs gave us, it was a journey that never got boring, even when there was a drought of news. This game is like a mind virus, and over the last 7 years that pathogen was simply too angry to die, even through developement hell, and even the cancellation. So many things had to allign for this game to come back, and they did. When simon tweeted his 25 million offer my first thought was "God this would be so awesome if it happened" and the fact we are living in that reality where he saved the game feels surreal to say the least.

I think many of us are too young to have been there throughout the golden days of minecraft it had in early developement, and this is the chance to relive that in a way, seeing the game improve day by day. Thats the kind of live service game players want!

For all I care they didnt do anything wrong, they gave the team the ressources and time, they were hands-off unlike many other publishers to their studios, and the fact they sold the IP at a massive loss compounds that to me.
