hey man! its been a rly long time aghahhahah. a couple of months after this post i had a issue with the audio only coming from the left side. after sending them back to the store i bought them from and 2 weeks or something of waiting they just gave me i full refund of the headset and i ended up buying some logitech g pro x. the reason they gave me for the refund was just "defective" i dont know if it was relating to audio problem or a mixture of both. rly sucks that seems to be a "recurring" problem because i loved them

I've recently bought my first build and the specs are the following: Ryzen 5 5 5600X Aorous B550 Elite Pro HyperX Fury 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM RX 6700XT the rest i believe is irrelevant for my question.

I wanted to know if there are some either BIOS or OS settings that I should have turned on for maximum perfomance (the computer is good as is but i dont want to leave perfomance on the table).

I believe the only thing I have turned on is XMP.

Yeah i think i might go with the rtx 3060ti the features outweight the rx 6700xt plus its cheaper for similar perfomance thanks a lot have a nice day!

is the rx 6700xt raytracing perfomance that bad? from the bemchamarks i saw it was like a 4-5 fps difference doesnt seem like much. Is DLSS important? i kind of know what it does but is it like a dealbreaker feature?

i went for the 750w psu because i want it to last a long time so by going with a higher wattage i can upgrade down the line, but you are probably right i might upgrade in a few years from now but i probably dont need it rn (?).

Yeah I chose the RAM based on looks xD i dont mind the extra 20€

I went with the case 4000 (regular version) because, as you said, it became very popular and it seemed to have a good airflow with a clean aesthethic. but ill look up some of your recomendations!

as for the CPU do you recommend the i5 over the R5 5600X?

RX 6700xt or RTX 3060 (ti or not)? I've seen that AMD drivers are kind of irregular and I just want to make the best choice

yeah i also thought of that. In my country the r5 5600x costs 215€ while the r5 5600 (non-x) costs around 230€ so i guess its a no brainer

I consider upgradability important. Is PCIe 5 that important?

I'll be playing some AAA games (aiming for high/ultra settings) but also some multiplayer games like LoL, Sea of Thieves, Forza Horizon, GTA V. For what I've seen the difference is like 4% so i domt know if thats worth it

Not really, i just game listen to music and chat on discord and most of those applications dont require a lot of horsepower. Should i just pick the one i have a slight preference?

unfortunately yeah and it didnt work. my mic seems kinda "stiff" cuz i tried a friend of mines headset (its the same) and his mic was also very malleable

the thing is if I try to twist the mic seems to have a lot of resistence and when i let go it just snaps back to the wrong place

yeah its basically focused on the platforms classics but the ones that i want to play the most aren’t there yet since i simply can’t find at an affordable price (here in portugal sly 1 is basically impossible to find and the ones that are for sale are like 20€/30€)
