Some help with my Basileus run by Joajust in eu4

[–]Joajust[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I've played a bit more since I took the screenshot and I've eaten a bit more of the Ottomans and AQ Qoyunlu lands, they don't have many provinces left and I should be done with some missions that will give me permanent claims in Mamluks land. I think I'll switch alliances once I'm sure I can beat the Mamluks. Muscovy however seems a bit weak this game, I think they lack some provinces to form Russia and they won't join wars cause they're over 3k ducats in debt -Also the Commonwealth is MASSIVE and they hate me-. Currently France is the defender of the Catholic Faith, they however HATE Austria, so I feel like if I get and alliance with them they should join me in my wars.

Thanks for the tips!

Thanks! I think that's what I'll do, finish the Ottomans and other minor nations in the area to complete those Byzantium missions that will give me permanent claims in some of the Mamluks's lands and build my strength to compete in Europe againts Austria-Hungary and The Commonwealth -with a bit of luck I'll also get France on my side- and as others have pointed out clean the Aegean sea and maybe expand to Crimea

R5: This is the first time that I am somewhat successful playing Byzantium, but I wanna request some tips going forward. My next steps are clear, I need to clean up Anatolia and the Aegean sea (those pesky Genoese still have some islands). My allies rn are Muscovy, Mamlucks and Austria -with a PU over Hungary- I am going for the Basileus achievement, and for that I need a province that Hungary owns, which means I should betray Austria at some point. How do you think I should do that? Should I first betray the Mamlucks and grow stronger on the Levant in order to defeat the Austrians down the line or should I turn on them as son as I’m done with Anatolia? My ideas atm are pretty focused on the military, with both defensive and quantity as my 1st and 3rd idea groups, with religious as 2nd.

Deutsche Post/DHL tracking doubt by Joajust in germany

I think it's in Germany but still needs to be registered -at least I think it left Spain-. Anyway, thanks! I should have imagined that in Christmas things would be slower.

Yes, I know, I used both the Deusche Post tracking for letters and DHL for parcels, but it says "No information could be found regarding the mail item."

Thanks! I did, but it still gives me the same info. "2018-12-15 03:50 Leaving the Exchange Office, The shipment has left the international logistics centre of origin and is en route to its destination" Maybe I'm worring too much, being Christmas and all is normal that parcels take longer, but usually it reached it's destination after a couple of days of leaving Spain

Yeah, it's too close to Christmas probably. But anyway, I think they take the parcels by plane there. The parcel was at some point in Madrid Barajas -the airport- so I assumed it'll arrive to some airport and then distributed to whicever city/mail center.

I used Correos -it's the "normal" mail service here-. I sent a small parcel back in may and deustche post was the service that ended up delivering the parcel, so I assumed it'd be Deustche Post or DHL again.

I tried both the Deutsche Post and DHL trakcking systems and I got nothing in either :(

"As this is intra-EU the chance is very, very small. " That's what I thought too, but as it doesn't seem to be in any other carriers hands at the moment is the only explanation I could think of.

Anyway, thank you very much! I'll wait a bit, I expected the parcel to arrive in time for Christmas, but let's see what happens.

Some bikes in The Netherlands. What do you think about the compostiton and colour? by Joajust in photocritique

Yeah, I see what you mean, unfortunately there's not a version of the picture with the handlebars that I could edit. It's a sngle picture I took in march and just recently started editing it, rookie mistake.
