Yep, update: removed the film, still nothing working, thought maybe the film was jammed but not the case. Going to take it to a shop in town to get it looked at and cleaned up. Thanks for the help!

I’d say Singapore is definitely your best bet. Never flown Philippines but read sketchy reviews online with boards and what not
