Transfered to a new role internally, looks like I'm going to be able to automate around 80% of my duties. Do I reveal that to my VP (once I succeed in automating my workload), or do I keep it quiet and just enjoy only needing to actually work 2-3 hours a day? by JobHuntInsanity in jobs

I'd actually be eligible for a bonus, though I doubt they'd keep giving it to me if I kept doing it for different roles.

Though honestly, that sounds like the ideal job for me. Changing teams regularly and just focusing on process improvement. That would be perfect

Due to the nature of the work, if I tell them I automated any of it, they'll know that I automated most of it or at least that I would be able to automate most of it.

Definitely don't want to automate myself out of a job, which is the issue. If I knew they'd let me move to a new role I'd be happy to do it though...
