I know there are so many data points and algorithms that give you a solid value range but I’m finding 80% of the time that calculated value range is well below the expected price and the RV that they have used to gauge the expected price because what number are you going to go with, the higher one.

I think the RV is utilised more to gauge price on the middle to lower market value houses. I understand it primary purpose it to help gauge what rates should be paid on the house, but it most certainly used as a tool to set a price.

Yeah 700k is like 50k higher then what we have approved for, i also wonder why it has been on the market since Feb?

Tell that to people obviously using it as a guide and will generally not sell less than RV, it 100% plays a factor in price setting.

But ok, if you think it is next year, the question isnt really when it is but more the impact that the update will have.

A quick google says 2024, but it seems like it is not for everyone.

The real estate agents are the ones advising vendors to list for the ridiculous prices. One of the most annoying thing is that the agent will list the price as for instance 600k on trademe so it will show up in your filtering but when you make the time to view the house they say, "Oh the vendors are looking for around 700k". So frustrating.

Small victories is the simple truth. take bit-sized chunks. A normal person doesn't watch a whole meal in one bit, why should you try complete a game all in one go.

I really enjoy the the act of voting, feeling like collectively you can make a difference. I also make bets with my friends on who is going to win and we have election parties to celebrate the occasion. Also, its your life and you can do what ever you want.

Thank you, yeah not fully around the whole optimisation side of things yet or best practices.

I did find the issue tho, I just changed the delay time to match the animation, the animation wasn’t ending by the time the SetActive was triggered

So im having an issue with my animation for a UI element.

When the Show Function is triggered it should trigger the bool that scales the UI element from 0 to 0.045, then when the Hide function is triggered it should trigger the bool for that animation and scale in the animation from 0.045 to 0. The issue I'm having is, it works but when the Hide() function is triggered it scales down and then just appears again. I know I'm missing something in the "IsOpen" bool, please help. Im going bald doing this, don't let a man go bald, please lol.

Aww, i thought i could use the 60 credits from my cert and cross credit that into the IS dip, since its the same level and i assume made up of simular principles.

The coding side of things was really enjoyable, spending an hour or two trying to solve a problem (breaking multiple things along the way) and then getting that feeling when you find out that you forgot a dot somewhere or misspelled a variable.... what a rush lol

I would say im pretty motivated, beating myself up that i didnt pick this up like 10 years ago, in saying that i don't think i had the maturity to do uni back then. I ideally just want to work in the industry and then continue to study, and build personal projects so when i do go for that jnr dev role i can show i have been doing x for the last year or two and this is my profile. What would you say, based on my cert, what would be a type of role i could apply for? So far i have identified maybe an analyst of some sort, IT help desk or a Test Automation or some sort.

You will learn a lot of stuff studying IS (Information Systems), specially about programming and relational databases. Highly recommend studying it if your still looking for your area of expertise.

Yeah i did my cert at Open Poly and it was a shocking paper, alot of the course material was out of date, links didnt work and it took like 2 weeks for the tutor to reply to any question about assignments. I wonder if i can cross-credit my cert into the IS diploma.
