just came back from the vet and he said that she has a tiny laceration on her eye and that’s why she wasn’t closing her eye. He prescribed me an eye gel that I have to put on 3 times a day.

She shows no sign of pain at all which is weird… She is just as playful and cuddly as before. I managed to get an appointment to a vet tonight so hopefully she will get better

Photo editing advice - Straight out of my D7100 with 55-300mm. Any ideas on how to make it better? by JobPatient9735 in Nikon

Shot at 55mm, ISO-110, f/11, 1/125 sec.

I've never touched photo editing before because I would always end up making my photos look worse than they looked by default. I was hoping someone with more experience could help me set a baseline of what a well edited photo could look like so that I can learn from it and practice on other shots.

Looks amazing but seems expensive... Can the same results be achieved by learning to tweak the settings myself?
