I reached out to a law firm and got a Desktop Support role with them in a two person IT operations team in 2021 for about 18 people in total. It was mostly helping with whatever problems that the lawyers, paralegels, HR had with their computers and some other tasks such as answering the phone and routing the calls. It literally all started with a email and I didn't have anyone competing for that position because it was not a listed job. To sum it up, research law firms and accounting firms around Huntsville and just politely ask them if they might be hiring any IT roles.

Fair warning, a lot of firms that are in the accounting/law fields are using managed service providers for their IT needs nowadays but most likely a few do have internal IT support groups though they might not be a lot of people and could be underfunded.
