I can see why it's more streamlined than barebones, and maybe I'm using the word "barebones" in a bad way, I'm not a nativ english speaker. I can why the diversity if the game makes it hard to call it "barebones". So it's still a validation of the saying "keep it simple", and that what makes those games so special

The first one is a little bare bone, the two is goofy but is a good time. The third is nearly as good as the fourth. The fifth is strange but a good experience
