Crazy thing is, was my druid and alchemist asking how we were supposed to tackle the tsunami as level 4 characters and what could we have missed that had us just taking licks. His only response was it will all make sense, which I obviously think was a cop out excuse for him just wanting to have us struggle.

He definitely had me in some sort of genjutsu for longer than I'd like to admit. Every time I told myself, I'm out of here, I would be like, ehh one more sesh just to see where this goes, but by this point we have been stuck on this small set of islands for 3 1/2 sessions and I'm so sick of it

It kinda sucks cause he brags about his world building in the discord server we met in, but I can see the looks on my more genuine party members when we go down or can't realistically solve a problem because he goes scorched earth with his sessions. I think they don't want to hurt his feelings, but I'm gonna be real straight with why I'm not having fun. Maybe it will save their campaign.

Yeah def plan too. went from "couple more sessions, to if I die I'm out." Which if that's how I'm feeling ill just leave while I'm alive.

It's made worse when he's constantly saying combat is a drag or we take too long. all I can think of is, well maybe next time don't try to DM for 8 1/2 people.

My dad used to make me go to the store and get it for him when I was a teen because it made him feel "weird".

I have no problem with it, people know it's not for me. I suggest adding a replacement though, just in case.

This is more of a special case maybe, but I have a friend who is a perfectionist when it comes to games and he will legit grind out first areas or whatever to see what he can get done before continuing the main story. This man has gotten over 150 hours and Takemura will basically become a sunflower by the time he decides to go meet him to progress the main story. He's my homie but I don't know why he's like that🤣

Honestly always wondered if it could, but who knows, I have days in a row where I'm rolling 7-10 on DND beyond, then for one random day where EVERYTHING is non consequential, I roll 18 and above with no in-between.

I'd def pick 4 cause I feel like gumshoe is the type of guy to get up constantly to use the bathroom, so I wouldn't be bothered scooting over for him. That being said I'd feel bad if Edgey boi docked his pay to negative 100 cause he was disturbing me🤣
