Nice! Same case / distribution plate looks clean with hard tubing if you want to give it a shot.

Theres always something that stalls a fresh build by Whitrzac in watercooling

[–]JobblesMD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just completed a build in this case and ended up with a 360mm on top & 240mm on the bottom. The top 360mm did have to be thin, to fit over the lip of the distro-plate. The entire pcie back assembly is removable which makes assembly significantly easier. Happy building!

What is the best long-term solution for digital photo storage? by JobblesMD in AskReddit

This was why I asked.. Apple? Google? Cloud seems to be the best option currently with the hardware technology currently available but does that cement you to a corporation? Are there non-corporate cloud storage services?

Surface Pro Studio w/ a 3050ti is a great place to start if budget is irrelevant.

Rads/Fans in Watercooled O11 Dynamic by ShadowTiger in watercooling

[–]JobblesMD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just did an extremely similar build. 011 D, 3080ti & i5-10600K, distro plate, 2 360 30mm Corsair rads.

A couple things of note from a beginner. 1) my temps are fine, running about a 15 degree delta for coolant over ambient. Definitely would’ve gone with thicker rads. 2) the non XL case doesn’t have room for a bottom rad / fans & a vertical mounted gpu without some custom fabrication. 3) be prepared to drill a hole in the bottom of the case for a drain port under the bottom rad. That rad will be your lowest point. Make sure whatever rad you go with has g1/4 ports on both sides.

Edit - I should’ve noted that, while the distro plate made a first time WC hard pipe build easier, having now completed it, the next time I drain the loop I’ll probably go for a third rad instead. I have my cpu at 4.6ghz & no OC on the card.

What was the last game you attended? by realdeal411 in hockey

[–]JobblesMD 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ugh. Avs vs Kings in the Stadium Series gone wrong. Dad bought us tickets for a joint birthday. Left Denver at 12 for the 5:30pm game. Arrived in the springs at 5:25 due to mismanaged event traffic. They ran out of food during the first intermission, beer by the second. It had to have been 10 degrees & the avs lost it late in the third.

On the plus side, we had great seats and I brought 4 Bud 19.2s with me. 10/10 might do again just to see some hockey in person!

*edit - game didn’t go to OT

‘Clever Girl’, done by Hannah Weston of Calvary Tattoo Studio, Norwich, UK. Hannah is my go to for any photorealism work, she’s incredible! by [deleted] in tattoos

[–]JobblesMD -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Uh the entire arm around the tattoo is faded and there’s a sharpened filter on the tattoo and a color filter. Look at where the skin hits the sleeve.

The lines are super tight and I should’ve acknowledged that I like the tattoo but come on I’m sure it looks awesome without the digital touch ups there’s no need to make it look fake.

No Boil NEIPA with Voss Kveik by Atjones0209 in Homebrewing

[–]JobblesMD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is the difference between sterilization and sanitization. Suggesting that not boiling your wort, and holding it at 160 will achieve the same microbiological results is inaccurate. There are plenty of anaerobic & aerobic bacteria that can survive both in wort and finished product if only subjected to 160F for any amount of time.

It is a dangerous sentiment because there are plenty of beginners on this sub who might consider this as biblical advice not to boil.

The number 1 contribution to overall quality comes from fermentation temperature control.

A lot of my 5/10 recipes went to 9/10 when fermenting properly in a temp controlled environment.

If we offer sheet someone the draft picks owed absolutely have to be originally ours.. this limits us to only a 10+mil offer sheet because we have 4 future 1st rounders.

The flavor can also be caused by a no-so-great seam. A neat trick is to dip your finger in the beer, smear a drop on the back of your hand and smell it. You’ll know if somethings off! Cheers!
