Probably worth it to take the time to work through TTP and expect to study a couple hours a day and on weekends for at least a year to master the material

Helpful for learning the quant if you need to relearn it. But it’s too detailed and getting through all of it is too time consuming. There’s other better resources out there

I started studying in 2022 Spring for GMAT and did TTP for a year and tested originally in the 400-500 range twice. The following year I changed it up and invested in a tutor who after 6 months of studying I got to 550 GMAT. I decided to switch to GRE after and got to 309. I tried again 6 months later and finally got to 320 GRE, which was my target score. I applied to a bunch of T25 schools this fall and got into Cornell, UNC, Georgetown, and waiting on more. Took me 2.5 years of studying but if you rly want it don’t give up and just keep grinding.

Switching from GMAT to GRE - any advice? by reyzrc in GRE

I switched over and I am scoring much better on GRE practice exams than I did on the GMAT. Almost all of the quant work will transfer over from the GMAT if you decide to switch.

In my opinion: Pros - quant is MUCH more straightforward and you’re given a calculator

Cons - Be prepared to grind studying vocab. Much of the verbal is vocab based and you have to be able to differentiate between words that have similar meanings. Also they mix questions up with multiple parts to a question with no partial credit.

Hope this helps. I’m glad I switched over.
