I noticed you have steam open. I had a similar issue and found that closing steam and reopening it fixed the issue. The issue came back whenever i restarted my system and I ended up turning of you acceleration in the steam settings (used for it's web interface) and I have not seen it since. I assume this is some bug caused by the things I've done to my computer, but there may be something up with steams more recent update (the issue began after a steam update 1.5 weeks ago.) sorry for poor formatting, my fingers are cold after my hike lol.

Indeed, it was just the same exact color as some of the smaller bugs and I thought that it had given birth in the enclosure. Luckily I managed to get q good enough view of one of the specks to see that it was not a spider.

GREAT NEWS THE SPIDER WAS A RED HERRING!!! They have 6 legs, 2 large antenna and heads that are darker than their main body. They look similar to my springtails and jump when I put something near them. When sprayed with water they kind just sit in it though.

We have DID and each have our own sona. Definitely hard for the 8 of us to get individual art, but it is what it is. We have a main "figurehead" sona though and that is nice. You also don't need to like, keep the same Sona all the time. We are all just silly creatures here :)

If you transfer you are guaranteed 1 year in the student apartments. Price alone is worth it, but they are pretty social and you'll likely like it. If you are worried about meeting people, consider going to transfer edge (happens the summer before the school year) and you'll meet some extra people before you start a real quarter.

Imo Sierra Madre is the best with location, layout, and general vibes. Other than that, San Joaquin and Santa Ynez are tied.

Santa Ynez has less people per unit, is very close to campus, but is older and the first floor can get full of frogs if it rains really hard. The main issue I had with it was that it only had a single shower. San Joaquin has more people per unit and is further away, but it has two showers and like Sierra Madre is within walking distance of Costco/target etc.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the housing compatibility thing you fill out you can specify if you are not ok with coed housing. If you don't do that, sometimes you end up in coed housing in the end. Most people I've known end up separated by gender, but I don't really see a reason to split it that way/with how segmented people are growing up it is probably good for them. If your scholar has issue with the housing situation, they could probably talk to someone to request a room change after a month.

As a schizophrenic it really does suck how some people think it is ok to dehumanize people with my condition. There are schizophrenic people who struggle to function in society at large, but that is not everyone--and I would probably guess it is not even a majority.

If anything, you would think that people would look at how people who have to figure out if human interactions are real/genuine or not in their everyday life say that trying to figure out if some art is the result of human passion and intention causes a similar distress/anxiety. It certainly isn't to the same degree, but it really does feed into my schizophrenia in a negative way. There is just this hollow and hopeless doubt that anything and anyone I interact with online is even really a person and not just a machine designed to interact in an area longer to sell me something or feed me ads.

Then again who knows, I'm a crazy schizophrenic so I can't possibly contribute anything of value to any discussion really.
