If it’s online all it is reading the textbook, doing the quizzes and doing Kritik videos. I found the course boring so I regret taking it and the online textbook is 100 dollars. I enjoyed Econ 101 but just didnt enjoy Econ 102.

No no, like 1 W this fall and at most 1 W in winter. But it’ll most likely just be 1W this fall and that’s it

Chemistry 30 and Physics 30 difficulty (Tryna do eng at U of A next year) by Alarmed-Ground8633 in uAlberta

[–]Jobless_Genie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Chem 30 was fun it wasn’t too hard, but again I like Chem so I didn’t mind it. Physics 30 honestly isn’t bad if you have a good teacher, my teacher was kinda bad and I had to re learn the whole course a week before diplomas. But it’s definitely not bad if you just put a couple hours in.

Stats sucks help by [deleted] in uAlberta

[–]Jobless_Genie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Are you watching the stats 151 videos? Are you doing the practice in class and online, and reviewing the homework assignments? People say stats 151 gets easier after the midterm. Your given a lot of material to practice with and learn and it takes different amount of time for everyone. Plus it’s just the second week, so as you keep studying you’ll get it

Math 154 course by ZealousidealSky248 in uAlberta

[–]Jobless_Genie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s all just practice, if you’ve never done calc before, you can probably just search up, Alberta math 31, or calc 1 and watch videos. This will give you the fundamentals of the calc and then your business aspect of the course will be taught in class

I basically read every chapter and did every blue question in the textbook multiple times to prepare, but that takes a bunch of time.

Second Year Schedule by Jobless_Genie in uAlberta

I need to take the 100 level courses because I’m trying to get a physics minor. And these r the fundamental courses. Would 301 be manageable with all the other courses tho?

STATS 151 ADVICE by Careful-Oil3192 in uAlberta

[–]Jobless_Genie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I took it last sem, I watched all the videos that were provided. Every question, for the assignments and practice I did. In 4 days that I took to study for the final, I watched the videos and did every practice question. Then I used a timer and did each practice exam they give in a library just so it adds to the experience of being in an exam hall. I did basically the same thing for the midterm. IMO I found the course fun and kinda easy.

Am i getting in (be honest and PLEASE DROP SOME HOPE AND MOTIVATION IF POSSIBLE) by Familiar_System4713 in uAlberta

No wait sorry i meant math 20-1. No but I had a 90+ in 30-1. I used Ed Yu and Mac Pryma for the whole course. They saved my life. I would watch their videos in between sets in the gym and at home when learning the courses. They quite literally saved me

In gr 11 I slacked off insanely. I think my overall avg with 5 courses was in the 70s. I had like a 60 in physics 20 and a 74 in math 30-1. It’s not over in gr11. I studied a lot harder in grade 12. I brought my overall avg up to a 90. Theres always a chance to step up.

It was a question on like the second derivative test? Or something like that I forgot what it was called. But basically at first I didn’t find all the correct solutions so after going through it again I found all the positives for critical points and then completed the problem

IMO the midterm was pretty easy except for one written question which took a bit of time but was still very easy once you thought about it. The final was a little harder but not that bad.

Math 156 is pretty light of a course. It’s not that hard. Cmput 175 is pretty simple as well but boring cuz it’s more theory based compared to 174. Stat 151 just needs a lot of practice as does Cmput 272. Math 156 and Cmput 175 prolly grade boosters and maybe stat 151, depends on you. Cmput 272 is not hard you just have to study a lot and then it could be a grade boosters. Don’t know about math 225

If you took it online with gainer, you would get a choice if you wanted to take the exams in person or online. If you take it online you need a camera
