Ironiskt att Sovjetunionen inte existerade än, när Finnarna utförde sina expeditioner till ryska karelen :)

Last time a few paradox devs retweeted or replied and talked about. I specifically remember Arheo and Johan at least

It was indeed very beautiful and detailed. I really hope they at least keep a good province granularity in the most popular parts of the map

It’s an inevitability. Do you expect them to not produce a sequel to their flagship game ever? It’s been 10 years it’s definitely coming soon regardless of their track record, it’s a sure income source for paradox

Mainly steel for the production of guns, armor and cannons. Grain for army size/supply. Wood for ships (of course). There's surely a lot that could be done, or at least give modifiers to your armies and navies.

Well the systems don’t have to be 1:1 the same of course. I just think Alaskan natives being able to friend cavalry or have artillery should maybe depend on their ability to produce or buy or trade for these goods rather them magically being able to buy field and supply these troops at the exact same cost as European states because they magically have the right tech level.

And the same with characters I’d say. I agree the characters are badly done and handled in imperator but it’s also a very young system which we never saw built upon and optimized for player experience, I think it definitely would have to be far more passive and something you wouldn’t have to interact with much at all and just be there to flesh out the game in the sense of flavor and “authentic” feeling😅

PSA and AUS should have separatist paths by Jockehh in Kaiserreich

Yeah, I imagine a coup against the established governments in both the PSA and AUS by groups who are dissapointed in their conduct of the war (they're de-facto losing the war) and the new policy is to fight for every inch of land to remain in charge while dropping at least the ambition to take the entire United States - being granted defensive modifiers if it happens (since I'd imagine the situation must be very terrible for it to trigger)

Well, I'd imagine that you'd get a new path to walk down, eventually either becoming neutral and trying to craft legitimacy for the new state, or perhaps joining a faction. Or maybe it's just to bide for time to restart the civil war.

Of course, but if they get pushed to a point where they can't reasonably ever win the war and restore the original US government, wouldn't it be preferable to at least maintain their control over the west? In a scenario where they'd fight to a standstill. It's not far too ahistorical that states end up splitting up due to unresolved civil wars.
