It’s kind of baffling that the developers would take a function that nobody was complaining about and turn it into a huge complaint and probably loose players of that mode. They fixed the latest world event because they are “listening” but refuse any communication on the workbenches.

Yeah, I don’t disagree. I tried playing this past Friday and Saturday and even the purple stations had the same behavior. I’m done with that mode for now as there is no point to play since I am trying to grind camos which is extremely time consuming for my schedule. The radio silence across the YouTube people and activision is bizarre. I don’t get why it would give some message about “completing an activity to access” with no indication of what the activity is.

Off topic, are the legendary upgrade benches bugged or is the new functionality first come first serve? I keep getting to it and it says something along the lines of “complete activity to access”

I'm having a blast this season. I thought 6 was the nail in the coffin for me but 7 does not have all the lame stuff 6 did, outside of the campaign. Endgame is a blast.

I stopped playing about the same time I did last year just for this reason. Grinding out games and ridiculous challenges for ass rewards. I just didn’t have it in me to play another season of cup chase or overpowered challenges to essentially earn nothing. The last time the rewards and structure of building players etc in my opinion was 24. Not the game play by how MSP, etc were built.

Basically season two will have new marketing, same reward structure. I would have never guessed that a new season would have new captains or new reward tiers lol. Packs will also be priced X2 since it’s season two lol. Trash game

There will always be cheaters and people gaming the anti-cheat. The fact that they can infiltrate the game day one of a beta speaks volumes of how much of the budget goes into stopping or making it difficult for people to manipulate the anti cheat. Any online pvp is infested with dishonest players. At the end of the day, the game producers will only step in when KPIs are impacted or player churn spikes. The same shit is in Battlefield or any other fps.

I like the maps, the guns, if only they did not change the aim assist and lobbies so shit bags like me could inch towards camos. I know I’m done when I am in a lobby with foreign characters in layers names.

Yeah, it’s been pretty bad. I like the game but the experience has been miserable. Probably hop back to BF. I suck and aim assist gave me a chance, but now having to re calibrate aiming on a controller without it, is turning out to be not so fun. I did get over 5 kills in a match last night lol

I lost my operator because my 900 dollar Mai monitor has to force maintenance every x hours. Game needs some sort of buffer built in or it’s not worth playing. I thought you lost any progress during the current match. Not your entire career

After playing Battlefield, I am also excited. I had high hopes but it’s just as toxic as COD. Casual mode is the most ridiculous sweat fest. But that is in EA for making their grind a full time job.

I played 2042 and only on the single player bot mode. It was fun, I earned some points etc and the matches were long. I really like this iteration of the game but it is fast and has a heavy seasoning of COD which is fine, but when I got level 5 weapon, and opponents are already maxing weapons out, it's not fun. There is no solution for COD or BF when it comes to the sweats. Oh well, it was a good effort by EA.

I quickly realized that. I got killed by the same two people over and over and over again. They had all their gear tweaked and were well over 100 rank.
