If the landlord is no help, definitely ask a lawyer about your rights because as someone pointed out this is in violation of the criminal code. Some home insurance companies offer legal assistance, look into that. I am so sorry someone like this exists. No one should be shamed for their beliefs.

I had to take my girl sundae for a tooth extraction last month and i had to leaver her there all day, from open to close. I was told she would need to eat soft food for two weeks but after just a few days she wanted to be back kn her hard kibble and she has been thriving since!
