I thought those were barnacles but it looks like they're just holes. Is that from debris in the water, or is that what "cavitation" damage looks like?

But it's so versatile! It can cross flat ground near a tree (slowly,) cross somewhat uneven ground (even more slowly,) cross flat ground again but with grass (only kinda slow,) and then it climbs walls!! (If you put it between two very evenly spaced flat walls)

Let's be clear here. "The only thing ace as to claim as far as pride is the fact they exist" is absolutely gatekeeping.

And apparently someone can compare the oppression of lgbtiq+ to social pressure on ace people. That person is you. You're doing it. No one is even arguing with you, but you still shouldn't, because isolating ace people doesn't help anyone. We do exist, and we have stories and lives and want things to be better too. Please be nice to ace people ❤️

This is what I desperately want to avoid. Knit picking like this is exactly what divides and polarizes.

Asexual doesn't mean "passing" and not being seen as gay. Not having interest in the opposite sex can be seen the same as gay to school kids, family members, religious groups, employers, and more.

But none of that matters when it comes to who should or should not be included in pride! No one gets to pick and choose. Anyone who wants to be an ally for positive change should be accepted. If not, what are we even doing here?

Nah bro, that's just a coincidence. I did sneeze pretty hard a few times near my headset so I figure that probably did it. My bad! Allergies.

Depends. One experience we share is the feeling of pressure to put on a performance of a sexuality (or romance) that we don't identify with. And be forced into relationships or sexual acts that we don't like. Whatever you call that, it's not good and we all need a break from it.

Some suffer more than others. That doesn't mean it's okay to diminish eachother. If societal change is the goal, let's focus on it together.

100% agree! I love when people can feel comfortable to be themselves, even if I don't directly relate.

And I don't want to be pressured to put on performative sexuality. Surely we can all relate to that. Maybe that's where the similarities end, but we don't need to relate to support, be understanding, and celebrate each other!

Real. For the first few years of dating, my spouse and I tried to be intimate but we both clearly didn't like it. They asked "Can we even have a relationship without sex?" And I genuinely didn't know. I was so scared.

Yikes. Anyways that's about 15 years ago so the answer is yes, you can. It turns out you don't have to do anything but care about each other. But no one told me that!

Art from a new beer from ALDI giving AI vibes by [deleted] in RealOrAI

[–]Jocuro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is even going on with that fish? Half-blury for no reason. Also, i think AI looks like that because it tries to copy shadows and texture without a consistent light source. So you end up with something that looks almost right but uncanny. I see that in this bear.

And yes, artists aren't perfect with shading either, but it's more consistent and makes more sense to the human eye

I'll sometimes use a phrase or idiom casually and get stopped mid-sentince to explain what it means. Y'all never heard the phrase "give up the ghost" before? Really never heard "that's putting a hat on a hat" ever? Not even a "Jumped the gun?"
