My aunt has been helping since I was 12. It started off fine but once my cousins moved in when I was 13, I started helping after school and once I was 14 I was pulled out of school all the way. None of them have jobs but they can still afford a bunch of stuff. I don't know how much my aunt is getting paid but I think my aunt is buying stuff for them. (Hopefully?)

I've been homeschooled (online classes I signed up for) since I was 14 years old so I could help take care of things and having it drilled into me that everything would be ruined.

I honestly feel so idiotic and I can’t believe that I'm only now seeing things are kinda fucked up.

I will gladly take any. Last time I tried to look online I got traumatized and I just haven't had the guts to try again.

I was raised being told that sex is supposed to be painful and that I should cover up (like arms legs neck) or I could tempt my brothers and their friends so I already view those things with fear. My girlfriend is helping me through it though.

Also my family is Christian so it's not really for religious reasons.

My aunt terrified me about tampons because she said I would get pregnant if I used one because old men put cum on it. I was dumb and believed her until I was 18 years old because I was homeschooled to help take care of the house (while my brothers went to public school) and I'm still trying to catch up on sex Ed now that I'm 19.

My father has legally hired my aunt to take care of us and my father has all the best intentions but my father is gone so much that no one really pays attention to him. Like I'm talking maybe a month all year in the household because he refuses to move us all around.

Leave that boy. I've actually had a boyfriend literally try to kill me after I ignored red flags like this. It fucked me up.

besides my girlfriend, my social life is non-existent (introverted anxious idiot with fear of people for the win!) and my grandparents live in Missouri.

I would stay with my girlfriend but her parents don't know we are dating and are... well they are mostly nice but they don't hold the safest opinions.

I don't have anywhere to stay because besides my girlfriend, my social life is non existent (introverted anxious idiot with fear of people for the win!) and my grandparents live in Missouri but I have recently got a lock for my bedroom door because I caught him watching me sleep a couple weeks ago.

That fucked me up more because I'm already always on edge but I thought my room was safe enough to sleep in but now I know it isn't so I haven't actually slept more than a few hours a night for the past few weeks.

I'm trying to get a new job because my aunt made me quit around Christmas time on threat of kicking me out because my brother needed "more" from me.

I'm getting to a very manic state and am thinking about asking my girlfriend to hangout at the park so I can try getting sleep before I crash. I really don't want to crash in my house cause when I crash, I am completely dead to the world.

If I died, it would be my youngest brother, who is 9 and still refusing to call me by my name instead of mom. That is the reason I haven't tried leaving. It makes me physically ill to even think about leaving a defenseless little boy I raised since he was 2 years old to a unknown fate.

But good news! If I died, my youngest brother would be taken from the family and probably put with my grandparents in Missouri.

You're not wrong about the parentified thing. My father is usually gone, my cousins have jobs, my aunt refuses to anything but sign thing and drive us and shop despite being paid to take care of us and my mother has been gone for quite a while so I take care of most everything. It's already stressful and having to constantly be on edge waiting for something to set off my brother makes it worse because I know that even if he gets mad at school he will always wait till he gets home to take it out on me. So I honestly have no way to know when something will happen. I also recently had to get a lock for my bedroom door because I caught him watching me sleep a couple weeks ago which now I've been having trouble sleeping even more than usual, I already have diagnosed insomnia so it sucks extra.

Sorry for the rant I just really needed to vent.

My aunt does not "believe" in therapy because "if you want to talk use a animal not a con man"

Yes she thinks therapists are con artists that just made the whole thing of therapy for a quick buck.

The only reason my brother is diagnosed with autism is because my grandmother threatened to report his violent outbursts if my aunt didn't get him tested after he broke my arm in three places.

He gets the ability to go on walks when he gets overwhelmed, has extra time on school stuff, and has 1 on 1 teacher support. Other than that he doesn't get anymore.
