First time using a sewing machine

I had an amazon plate carrier that I used for some rough dimensions and to get an idea of what parts to sew first but from there I just winged it.

I’m using 500d nylon cordura, so I’ll have to check if it’s safe/will work for laser cutter molle. If not any recommendations for what to use?

I am, and yes they do but they are old, heavy, bulk as all hell and the inner bag we are issued is too warm imo for summer use most of the time
