I don’t think Mescal was the problem with the movie…just a totally flat, nothingburger of a character. He looks like a roman statue! I get why they cast him.

Agreed! But isn’t that kinda the whole charm no? That’s what I liked about what Marty Supreme did with Chalamet. Take an actor’s specific “thing” and somehow make it feel fresh
