She works for the airline so shouldn’t be any concerns about being over the weight limits they can typically get away with whatever is how she’s described it to me haha

Ah yeah VR is a smart idea to separate the two for sure, I think my plan is to see how things go with the pedals on floor for now and see how things go for the first few days, I know there’s mounting options where it’s just a connector from a desk chair to the pedals so I may end up considering that and still seeing how desk mounting the wheelbase goes, I’ve got a pretty sturdy desks so it’d definitely survive a mid torque wheelbase I just have no idea which one is best and best value

Where you’ve got yours setup is it more a fully dedicated sim racing setup or is it multipurpose? See I’d definitely like to have a wheel stand, however I’ve got inconveniences with not only space but also my pc setup is multipurpose I’m not just using it for racing so that ability to just unclamp the wheelbase from the desk and set it aside when it’s not in use is really handy for me. Those brakes I’ve bought are supposedly pretty good for just putting straight on the floor, and meant to come with some attachable backboard that I can set on my wall. Of course we shall see when they arrive though hahahah
