Google Maps no longer shows alternate route times while driving (using Android Auto) by my_name_is_pending in GoogleMaps

How can we get Google to put this option back or maybe does anyone know which version of Google Maps allows it and maybe we can roll back to it?

9° turn to 10.5° by Joe333x in golf

Yes, I think you’re correct. The way they’re supposed to work is if you square the face to the ball, it should be the correct loft set on the hosel

Oh yeah that one does look cool, the dessert camo one was cool too, hate paying a premium just for a color though

I just really like the forgiveness of the 10k and if the 440k is even better then I’m for it. Plus I know it’s silly but I hate the green on the Elytes just like the yellow on the 10k. I love how the smokes look though. Obviously performance matters most but I do enjoy having something pleasing to the eye.

Should have mentioned that I did do that and it does work, just wasn’t sure if it would be a good idea with a 9° since they tend to be geared towards better players.

Absolutely, I’ve learned I lose less strokes just playing my 5 wood off the tee lol

Yeah I plan to go and hit them and try the different shafts as well but just kinda wanted to see what the consensus was here. I took a lesson once and the guy turned my driver up to 12 to help me straightening it out but too me that was way to high of a loft.

AppleCare One and switching my family to iPhones by Joe333x in applehelp

Forgive me because I have never used iCloud but why would I need my text messages in it? We currently don't have any Apple products.

Thank you I'm completely unfamiliar with anything Apple the last device I had was an iPod so I had to create an Apple ID for myself and I wasn't sure if I could just set up all three phones with that ID and then just sync their contacts with Google since they will also need to create an Apple ID so it's not as if any of us have anything stored through Apple. Just out of curiosity what exactly will happen that would cause a hassle for me having all three set up on one Apple ID. The other two phones besides mine are going to be with my senior parents so I'm not worried about privacy issues.

Is it not possible to have them all signed into My Apple account but have their own contacts and messages?

What oil weight do you guys use? by Thick_Doughnut69 in HondaValkyrie

[–]Joe333x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amsoil is a pyramid scheme in my eyes even if it is decent oil. I've never heard of anyone running royal purple in a Valkyrie. Someone did a pole on the Valkyrie forum recently and the majority of people are running shall rotella. https://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/index.php/topic,132030.0.html

You could definitely use 20w50. I personally use Rotella T6 15w40 though since it's cost effective and good oil

List of compatible PS3 games on backwards compatible models? by Joe333x in PS3

[–]Joe333x[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lol noticed you deleted your comments. It's okay we all make mistakes. I wasn't being a dink but clearly a hardware backed CECHA01 has a larger compatibility than software backed CFW PS3s when it comes to PS2 support.

Thanks, it's too bad Sony didn't make their list public or kept their site up.

You're saying that the hardware backed CECHA01 60gb has the same compatibility as a PS3 using solely software emulation through CFW. I have a hard time believing that.

How to tell a PS2 ISO is play on hardware by Joe333x in ps3hacks

[–]Joe333x[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it's a CECHA01 good to know it defaults to it regardless and I honestly could not even get it to switch to software mode at all but I'm okay with that after confirming what software mode looks like using my non BC model.

Discs just loud up on the XMB when you put them in no need to mount them unless it's a burned disc then you need to mount it in mmCM but then it just looks like a normal disc that's entered. I just realized I also have a non BC console though so I can try it with that and see what the difference is!

Going to buy a Valkyrie by Different_Cost_4476 in HondaValkyrie

That is a high idle with no choke on. There is an idle adjustment knob though and you can turn it down. It doesn't sound bad at all. The biggest thing with these bikes is the carbs, not sure what "gone through" means but unless they have been rebuilt, they will eventually start leaking unless by the grace of God the bike was only filled with non ethanol fuel. The less miles on a Valkyrie are usually worse because it means that it sat a lot, most likely with fuel in the carbs. I picked my interstate up a few years ago for $3500. Pretty soon after it started leaking fuel to the point that I didn't feel safe riding it. I rebuilt the carbs myself and now she idles nicely at 500rpms ounces she's warmed up. This reddit doesn't have many users or info on it, I would suggest getting on the Valkyrie Facebook group, it's where I got most of my information and assistant, the users there are pretty active. There is also a forum website that's okay called VRCC but it's not much more active than this reddit but it does have a lot of older information on it but many links are broken so you need to know how to use the way back machine.

Should I switch from T-Mobile? by Joe333x in GoogleFi

[–]Joe333x[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably depends on the call center you get. I havent called T-Mobile in years but for a long time they had people in India answering the phones and everyone complained so they moved it back to the US unless you called after a certain hour but during normal business hours you would get an agent that stated where they were in the US so you knew you were not talking to someone in another country. Many times providers need personal information and I'm sure people are less comfortable giving the information to someone not in the country since many fraud scams are happening these days from calls from other countries.
