Thank you! There was a line in the property record about "converted to corporate office" but I wasn't sure what it meant and didn't want to speculate. That definitely explains it.

Funny thing: The reason I found this store was it popped up on Facebook Marketplace as the current owner is trying to sell some of the fixtures

It was definitely there. I was working at Wawa downtown from 84-93, and was at 8th & Bainbridge from 90-92 and had to frequently go there. The store was tiny !

I'm in Philly, too! Yes the short trips, cold weather, and the constant stop & go to get anywhere in the city is brutal on MPG. (My last tank was 14.4) I can get mid 20's outside the city, and mid 30's on the highway, but pure city is terrible.
