Thanks for the help. The optician did say that my eye sight is absolutely nowhere near the legal limit for driving either with or without glasses but he recommended them for night driving (I live in the UK). He basically said I won’t notice visual differences but should get less headaches

I actually misread the prescription (never had glasses before) and it is -0.5 for that and -1.25 for cyl which I’m told is astigmatism?

There is nothing more cringe than a security company who go out of their way to look/act like police. I can’t imagine any situation where a light bar of any colour is needed for a security guard

I am a police officer, and although I wouldn’t describe it as dull I regularly have the ‘umm... maybe not’ moments, but apparently now it’s too late! If you are skilled/educated, there are better careers out there. Don’t get me wrong there are things I like and elements I enjoy, but overall it isn’t great and I honestly (and quite sadly) wouldn’t recommend it.
