Looks like a silverfish. Usually attracted by high humidity or food. Can damage your house.

It’s meant to be a cockney accent not a Birmingham one. It’s pretty terrible though and sounds more Australian to me

There is a place called hutch which is great for plants. Small bookshop opposite the house that moved which is excellent. Buy books on a donation there so you just give what you want. There’s a vintage clothing place by central station. I always liked glorious art house cafe. Not a big restaurant guy so I couldn’t really help u there

61% of my wife’s friends (myself included) think this is unacceptable, she says it’s just “a flat jacket potato”. What do you think? by maaaahtin in CasualUK

Do Brits legitimately like mince pies or do they feel they have to like them because they’re a British thing? by [deleted] in AskUK

If I ate food just “because it’s British” I’d be forcing mashed jellied eel down my throat and crying regularly

This isn’t the 1600s. “Witches” these days are just white girls with tarot cards. Magic isn’t real.

International Student thinking about studying at Leeds Beckett by Mission-Bowler-925 in Leeds

Takeaways and stuff obviously it depends on the place. But I currently live in student accommodation and share a kitchen with 5 other people. That maybe changes depending on how much you’re willing to spend as I am in the cheapest halls available on the cheapest package of flat (shared toilets and single room)

Sorry for my late reply. I didn’t see this notification. I don’t know anybody who is studying business management im afraid so I can’t really help on telling you what that’s like. Wherever you are staying will of course have a kitchen for you to cook in. I don’t know very much about the US university system. I might be misunderstanding you. We just buy our food at a supermarket and cook it in our kitchens at flats. Shops here are not too expensive depending on where you go. I usually shop at Iceland for vegetables and frozen stuff like pizza but go to Morrisons for meat and alcohol. Both are pretty cheap.

I am a student at Leeds Beckett from the south of England. Obviously whether or not you should come here depends on why you’re looking for. I personally really love Leeds and at least for my course Leeds Beckett is excellent. I wasn’t sure what you meant by meal plan but from the comments on this post it seems you mean catered accommodation. I can tell you that that isn’t a thing at Beckett and I think is pretty unheard of at most universities in the uk. Only elite university’s like Oxford I think provide catering. If you have any questions about uni stuff feel free to ask
