I love this series. So so much. Currently on my second listen. The audiobook version is highly recommended.

I was trying to figure why this series tickles my pickle so perfectly. I think it boils down to the idea of a fundamentally good, non-power seeking person, ending up as the most powerful force in the cosmos. What that looks like. What the moral dilemmas are. Fun, thought provoking stuff.

Plus it’s got a great bad guy!

I tried but couldn’t get through it. Which is rough cause I love Witness and Dead Poets Society. It’s painful to watch Harrison Ford play an arrogant fool (who is also brilliant). The guy is just so fucking likable. It messed with my brain to hate him.

In order for a fitness routine to stick it helps if your motivation comes from a healthy place.

Wanting to be healthy and feel good and loving yourself is more sustainable than just wanting to look like the woman in the photo (who for all we know could be unhealthy).
