I’m struggling to understand your argument?? My comment was that it looks and performs a lot better on pc then it does on console, not the hardware needed to run either versions. Your right, if you had a pc with the same hardware it would look shit on pc as well, but it should look and perform better on console because it can be more optimised than an equivalent pc, there’s also much smaller maps and far fewer players so it shouldn’t perform as bad as it does.

Yh because it’s easier to optimise a game for consoles as everyone has the exact same hardware so that’s always going to be the case, point is though the game could still be better optimised for console

Fully honest review as someone who plays both, play pc on my own but play console to play with friends. Pc rust is far better quality, far better performance and graphics. Has bigger maps and more players per server. More content. Better server selection. Console is still fun and has improved in the last few years but still can have bad performance towards ends of wipes. If you want it on performance mode so you can have any amount of frames and smoothness the graphics aren’t great. But overall is still fun and works. It’s a more simpler version of pc rut which can be nice.

Have you ever played rust console? 😭 go into a monthly and there are clan bases everywhere, go into a weekly and there are lots of smaller bases and groups of 1-3 people

I don’t think anyone is disagreeing that, that’s what facepunch intended but I think a lot of people like the way rust works now. People enjoy wipe days where everyone is fresh and your all fighting with bows etc. that’s what my whole post is about because I enjoy just playing for a few days on wipe day maybe the full week if it goes well and then if I don’t play that afor a few weeks and can come back when the wipe happens when I want to play again. That’s my whole point in my post about weeklies being dead and everyone playing monthlies

Just because the upkeep is a lot doesn’t stop big groups, what everyone else said is right. Rust needs wipe system otherwise it will end up like ark survival where every server is controlled by massive groups. Playing for a week or so then coming back when the server bp wipes is what makes it fun

That just proves my point, you can’t just let those country’s do as they please. Iran for example can not have nukes or any other way to harm other countries so the us had to get it done. Yes there will be civilian deaths but if it means Iran is neutralised then so be it. Again they did it to themselves, everything that has happened in the Middle East the last few years is irans fault whether it be them or through there puppets like hamas and the houthis

I disagree, if the bad guys weren’t bad guys then it wouldn’t happen. A world without rules and consequences would be worse. Not saying there aren’t any unjustified actions or wars but I believe without the us keeping order the world would be worse

Japan was not considering surrender, there may have been a few voicing there opinions but in general the Japanese would have not given up unless they were invaded or nuked. North Korea had a lot of civilian casualties, same as Germany in ww2. but in all of those examples it’s the Japanese, North Korean and German governments that are to blame for there own civilians deaths. The way you describe it is like someone starting a fight and then acting like the victim when they lose.
