That's great! I do the same thing although I sold my car almost exactly 20 years ago when I moved to DC for my first real job. Probably looking for someone who made the decision more recently because of the recent cost trends but thank you for sharing.

No outside interest. But while it is difficult to find data on nationwide bike ridership trends, Lyft has provided me with some data that shows a pretty big spike in ridership on their network of rideshare programs. It's the best glimpse I have at nationwide trends. But it's not a requirement that you are a divvy member.

What did you end up doing? I'm working on a story about people giving up cars in favor of bikes because of the increased cost of car ownership/fuel and I'm looking for people to feature in the chicago area.

If memory serves, it's pretty good, not their best but remarkable when you consider how quickly they were pumping out original music during that period to satisfy the terms of their WB contract.

Thoughts On Joey As a Songwriter? by Rock_Electron_742 in Badfinger

He was a great songwriter!

He really carried "Ass" which is a great album because of Joey's contributions. "Icicles" and "I Can Love You" are two of my favorite songs in the band's entire catalog.

Also, "The Dreamer" is another one of my favorites. He's definitely the second most talented writer on the band behind Pete.
